Brief Bio
The Midnight Express Band is based out of Salem, Oregon. We play locally around the Willamette Valley. We play Country and Classic Rock. We bring decades of experience to the stage. We play music that makes our audience want to get up and dance.

Band Member Bio's
John Herbert
Band leader, contact person, lead and harmony vocalist, and bass player. John started the Midnight Express band after retiring from Albany Music & Sound.
Kelly Bilyeu
Drummer. Kelly played in Fate 55 for more than 30 years, including opening for many famous touring bands.
Kim Beyers
Lead guitar player and vocalist. Kim also plays with 45th Fret and Cool Change PDX, and has performed with touring acts at local venues.
Our rotating 4th band member's
Clay King
Rotating fourth member. Clay plays steel guitar, electric guitar, lap steel, and sings lead and harmony vocals. He has performed with Shinkle's Band, Rock n Roll Cowboys, and Diamond Back.
John Burkhart
Lead guitar player and lead and harmony vocalist. John plays regularly with The Barnshakers and helps the Jefferson Parks band.
Greg Dodds
Lead guitar, keyboard, and lead and backup vocals. Greg is also a member of Flextones and has been part of the local music scene since the 1980s.
